Windows tablet is slowly getting its position now at market. A lot of computer manufactures have unveiled new tablet PCs based on Windows 8 OS. Acer, one of big computer manufacturers, doesn’t want miss this trend also. The company released new Windows tablet PC in W5 series, W510 and W510D, at Japanese market.
As we are not talking about watch, so we can step aside talking about the design too deep. All tablet PCs look like having a same appeal to me. What we must mention on these new tablet PC is both models could offer you a true pleasure of touch operation of Windows 8 OS on a 10.1-inch HD IPS screen smoothly using a 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z2760 processor with 2GB RAM.
So, what is the difference between two models? It’s only about keyboard docking station. The W510D is the W510 with keyboard docking station. The additional docking station with keyboard enables the W510D to be used like a laptop as well as adding more battery life, up to 18 hours, and interfaces.
In addition, the W510D features 64GB built-in storage, a 8MP rear camera, a front camera, HDMI, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, micro USB port, and so on. Thanks to the availability of cloud service, you can store your data in the sky.
The release date and pricing
Fashioned in 258..5(W) x 167.5(H) x 8.8(D) mm and 580g mass with sleek silver design, Acer ICONIA TAB W510 and W510D are available now at Japanese market. The pricing is 65,000 yen ($799.99) for W510 and 75,000 yen ($899.99) for W510D. Meanwhile, there is no information whether those tablet PCs will come to US or not.
